Research Support and Administration

The Research Support & Administration functional group is responsible for supporting the planning, organising and governance framework of the MRC CTU at UCL, as well as internal communications, short courses, procurement and recruitment.

The group consists of roughly 12 staff in various roles including research administration (disease/trial-based), an executive assistant and a unit manager. The group connects with all staff across the MRC CTU at UCL, bringing together research and operational activity strands. 

The group aims to ensure the MRC CTU at UCL operates efficiently, as well as ensuring that both internal and external stakeholders receive a high level of operational support with a solutions focus, contributing towards the Unit’s objective of improving patient outcomes.
