PENTA trials adopted by the Medicines for Children Research Network
17 Dec 2013
The Paediatric European Network for Treatment of AIDS (PENTA) began as a collaboration between paediatric HIV centres in Europe, and now includes centres worldwide.
The current PENTA trials PENTA 11, PENTA 15 and PENPACT 1 have recently been adopted by the Medicines for Children Research Network (part of the UK Clinical Research Network). This means that if they are being conducted in a site within one of the local research networks there will be support with R&D applications and other trial related work. It also means that staff in all sites participating in PENTA trials can access UKCRN training. See the PENTA website for further information about the PENTA trials.
